Hackney Altfest is a seven-day cultural festival celebrating the borough’s best alternative venues — where underground music, esoteric practice, experimental art, craft drinks, and dive-bar cultures intersect.
Across the festival week, each venue will host a curated programme of daytime and evening events that highlight its unique contribution to Hackney’s alternative community.
Expect a week of bands, DJs, talks, tours, tastings, and food across 9 local venues!

FESTIVAL CARDS
Hackney Altfest invites you on a self-guided tour of the borough’s most iconic alt venues. Grab your official Festival Stamp Card at any participating spot from 4th May onwards and start your journey through the wild and wonderful.
Whether you’re grabbing tacos at a neighbourhood dive, or tickets for a packed-out gig, each purchase earns you a coveted stamp. Collect a stamp from all eight venues by 10th May to enter a prize draw, featuring exclusive experiences and giveaways from the venues themselves.
